Sandman, The
- (AP RN, AR, age changing ability) #24 "Season of Mists 3", DC Comics, 7/24/98. Woman regresses to a little girl at will. (Jeffr_2bya)
Page 18 panel 4: Coming out of the cave towards Matthew is an old woman - Eve: She's in her 70's, a little overweight, with shaggy white hair and a shapeless dress.
panel 5: Eve now looks about 50: her grey hair is streaked with black, her face is less lined, her dress beginning to fill out.
panel 6: Eve has brought Matthew up to the level of her breasts. She's holding him -- really holding him, her 2 hands encircling his folded wings and body. His tail peeks out 1 end, his head comes out the other. She now looks about 35: Her hair is all dark, her face relatively unlined, except at the eyes.
panel 7: On 1 side, Matthew's head and beak, on the other, Eve's head. Both in profile. Eve now looks about 20.
Page 23 panel 2: Walking toward us through the corridor -- toddling toward us more like it, is a small girl, no older than 4. Her face is made up like a clown's, and she has a clown's red nose on. She's dressed in something that's much too large for her so it's hard to see what it is, really -- a dress or something, or even an oversized pillowcase with holes cut in it at the top for her head to poke out through. It drags on the floor and hides her feet -- get the feeling you do when tiny kids dress up in adult dressing-up clothes. She's holding a red balloon. She looks small and vulnerable and sort of cute.
- (ARed) Eve, based on the biblical character, lives in dreams. Her age shifts from one panel to the next to show every aspect of this archetypal character. (Metamorphose.org)

- (old aged) cover

Many innocent adult bystanders were aged. Spider-robot traps and ages a young couple who sneaked into the Temple of Tirod in its web, stealing their temporal energy. It then ages the guards who discover them. In America it drains a bunch of gang-bangers. 4 Avengers bump into the robot in Brooklyn and wind up decrepit victims of its temporal web as well. The remaining Avengers and Reilly head to the Temple, but most are aged into incapacitation by the temporal energies. The survivors fight the robot, and the temporal energy released by its destruction reverts the victims to normal. Not to be confused with Marvel Age Spider-Man Team-Up #4 "Out of Time" in which a horde of trolls freezes time. (myspecialfx)

Spider-Man

- (accelerated aging) "Sins Remembered: Sarah's Story" Sarah Stacy looks just like her deceased mother. She developed feelings for Peter and, after thinking Peter liked her as well, attempted to kiss him. Sarah insists that instead of trying to kill herself, she merely took a large dose of painkillers for the headaches that her aging condition causes, because only a large dose helps her.
- (accelerated aging) Spectacular Spider-Man #24: Flashback of Sarah's lonely but luxurious upbringing in an empty, Osborn-owned estate.
- (male AR) One of Silvermane's schemes was to use a neogenic device and make himself young again. Unfortunately it backfired and he was turned into a baby.

Spider-Man smashed a mirror over Drom's head, and Drom rapidly regressed to infancy and disappeared (only his costume was left behind).

Spider-Woman: Origin
- (flashed forward) Little girl wakes up as adult. aftermath
- (flash forward AP) #1, 2005. The intriguing secret history of her journey from child experiment to Hydra agent to S.H.I.E.L.D. agent to super hero to private eye to Avenger! The Doctors Drew funded by a military slush fund, have created a whammy DNA compiler. A freak accident lasers Miriam pregnant with Jessica. In her room little Jessica Drew is completely bored with her dolls. With her nose bleeding she pulls her hands away with part of the window sill still attached to her fingers. She falls back and slips into unconsciousness. She releases a poisonous spider. Mrs. Drew discovers that Dr. Drew is using his own daughter for his research. She confronts him as he's taking more blood from Jessica. Dr. Drew chases young Jessica back into the lab with Mrs. Drew following. As the room starts to become blurry, Jessica falls unconscious to the floor. Fade to black and then we see the words "DADDY?" Then we see a pair of hands emerge from some kind of liquid, and a young woman comes out obviously much bigger than before. A variety of well-choreographed poses of an underage Jessica Drew strategically-standing naked before General Wyndham and half a dozen Hydra soldiers. We see her scared face as someone off panel says "No, not daddy".

Squirt!
- (dedicated AR comic, AP, UCed) 2009.
Another great comic by Bojay in the tradition of "The Au Pair", with dedicated AR/AP storylines and artwork!
It's tough being a little sister, especially when Kristen's big sister Megan is a blonde bombshell who teases her mercilessly. Wouldn't it be nice to be big and sexy like Megan? Kristen tries out her new Hourglass Shampoo, and finds that "from flat to full body" takes on a whole new meaning. Meanwhile, Megan gets more (or less) than she bargained for when she uses Kristen's new Baby Shampoo.
No oversized clothes, but there is an undersized clothing scene. Pretty detailed TF, with a young girl growing to a very well-endowed adult, and vice-versa. It's about 50% AP and 50% AR. Also several scenes where the character is struggling with her reduced size.

(AA APed) "Perilous Journey"
A group of odd children are ice skating, dressed in modern attire. Only one child, a girl in a purple dress, seems hospitable toward Larry, mutely directing him to follow her. The pair crosses a bizarre icy canyon. They enter a room with reflective icy walls. The girl begins to admire her image in the mirror-like walls. When Larry looks up at her reflection, he is amazed to see not a little girl, but a buxom and beautiful woman in a red dress! "Your reflection," Larry sputters, "you're beautiful! What happened?" This time the girl finally replies. The seductive brunette explains that it was actually Larry that had magically made her reflection appear older. Before he can utter a response, the reflection appears in front of him, grabbing his hand. The two sit down on a couch while the transformed girl explains that only in that room with him would she be a woman, and upon leaving she would revert again to being a child, a transformation she desperately hopes to avoid. Larry lofts the bench high above his head and throws it into a mirrored wall. He succeeds in shattering the mirror, but then the entire room begins to collapse. The dark-haired woman bemoans,"I will grow older --always older! Old and ugly!" - 1 - (2bya info)

Wonder Woman
- (flash forward, flashback) In a few adventures Diana was a girl, sometimes a very young girl, almost a toddler. Then came stories where we'd see Diana at different stages in her life, all in one story... or of young Diana looking at herself in a time viewer, even of her using time travel to try to catch up to her adult self. You had many different-aged Dianas in the same story all calling each other "sister," WW #307 (1983).
- It was claimed that Wonder Girl of the Teen Titans was Wonder Woman as a girl. #105, 04/1959 features Wonder Woman as a teenaged Wonder Girl. Her beau was a merboy named Mer-Boy. When the stories showed that Mer-Boy had grown into a man, they called him Manno. The Impossible Stories began with Hippolyta splicing film of her daughter at different ages together to form one adventure, with young Diana viewing herself in a time monitor. Dr. Psycho and Circe used her traumas, mental conditioning and physical implants to transform Vanessa into the third Silver Swan, and released her against her former friend. After Circe was defeated, Diana took Nessie to a hospital, but Sebastian Ballesteros, the man behind Nessie's transformation, abducted her. Young Avengers
- (controversial CB scene) 2005 #2.
- 13 year old Cassie Lang (daughter of the first casualty of "Disassembled", Scott "Ant-Man" Lang) discovers she can grow! She has hit puberty, awakening her mutant powers. Kate leaves the hospital and is confronted by Cassie , who wants to join the Young Avengers. She's lost everything, a father and role model, a second home and her prior life, all have been shattered by tragedy, but she has what Kate doesn't have: a goal in life, which ties her path to Kate's... they both guide each other towards their clear destiny as heroines... and this is clear from the first meeting of these young women and the young men who inspired them. Cassie and Kate try to get into Avengers' Mansion to steal Scott Lang's spare costume. Cassie intends to be the new Ant-girl. After getting inside, they come to the spot where Cassie's father was killed. Kate tries to comfort her. Cassie explains who she is, but Patriot thinks she needs to go home. In a burst of anger, Cassie arm-throws Patriot before getting more angry. There's an extreme close up of her face as she's yelling that she is not leaving until they allow her to get her dad's belongings. Final shot? She's freaking huge! The girl has grown an extra 15 ft or so, with clothes rippage. Panties are shown through torn jeans. It's shocking to everyone, including herself. She wears clothes that can stretch to enormous size but underestimated the extent of her growth. The big cliffhanger sequence settles the outstanding quality of Heinberg's writing. It's so well played, both in dialogue and art, that the moment of revelation comes out of nowhere, but on a second read, it becomes perfectly obvious. Guess we can call her Giant-Girl now.
- Cassie's growth scene has started a controversy on several fronts. Previous reviewers have made clear that clothes expanding to avoid nudity due to Pym particle related "growth spurts" is pretty much mandatory if said growth spurt takes place on the body of a teen girl... they are not yielding on this. There are male readers Cassie's age that probably wanted more than the partial ripping. But older fans who have little sisters that age don't want to see that. There are major legal problems. Cheung and Dell walk a fine line while attempting to show what happened to Cassie without it being the classic: "So, why did her clothes grow with her or shrink with her?" The opening act of #3 shows Cassie Lang fainted after her power outburst, majestic yet fragile, surrounded by 3 generations of heroes. Everyone shows concern and hurries to her side, seeking the chance to aid her... watching both the experienced and the inexperienced heroes show the same reaction, yet act differently because of their difference in experience is joyful, and brings a human side to both parties.

Young Avengers
- (growth CB) "Stature" When 14 y.o. Cassie Lang gets emotional, her body goes through extreme growth spurts. Her clothes are instantly annihilated, but she wears a costume underneath that can stretch to 100 ft. It is thought she could grow even taller under pressure. Her growth rate depends on her emotions. Her parents don't approve of her trying to become a superhero. She has to deal with typical teen problems and fight villains on the side. (Process)
